Patina and Create Music are very excited to offer year 6 students the chance to perform in a collaborative Patina Samba band for this year’s Moving On celebration on Friday 4 July!

The 60-piece band will involve year 6 and Priory students and will perform in the Paddock on the 4th of July after the Moving On Parade. This will give the young band a chance to experience performing Samba Reggae from the Northeast of Brazil for the perfect après parade party groove. 

​

The group will work with samba experts in putting together a memorable performance to add to the colour and vibe of the Moving On celebrations. We are really looking forward to working with the students and hope that it gives the year 6 pupils an opportunity to meet and make new friends as they move on to their new school.

There will be two mandatory rehearsals at the Performing Arts Centre, Mountfield Rd, Lewes BN7 2XH:

Tuesday 24th June 4:30pm-5:30pm

Tuesday 1st July 4:30pm-5:30pm

We would love year 6 pupils to get involved. If they would like to take part, please register their interest below.  

The deadline for registration is 20th June 2025.

Participation is free, thanks to generous donations and Moving On fundraising, so that all year 6 pupils have the chance to take part.

Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
