Moving On and Moving Forward: Changes to Patina's Arts Team
At this year's Moving On Parade, we marked an important transition for Patina as we said a fond farewell to Amy Martin, our Arts Manager, and welcomed Sarah Strachan into the role.

Since joining Patina in January 2024, Amy has made a significant contribution to the charity through her dedication, creativity and hard work. As Arts Manager, Amy coordinated our wonderful team of artists, managed the materials and resources needed for projects, and liased with participating schools to ensure the smooth running of the creative making processes at the heart of Patina's work. Through this role, she has supported and inspired countless participants, helping to shape and deliver projects that have brought people together through the arts. Her passion, commitment and enthusiasm have left a lasting impact on Patina, and she will be greatly missed by colleagues, participants and partners alike.
As Amy moves on from Patina, she is embarking on an exciting new venture with her business, Tuesdays Bride, which specialises in rare, antique and vintage bridal wear. We are delighted to see her taking this next step and wish her every success as she grows her new business. Thank you, Amy, for everything you have brought to Patina over the years, and congratulations on this exciting new chapter.
At the same time we are pleased to welcome Sarah Strachan as our new Arts Manager. Sarah brings a wealth of experience from across the arts sector, along with a great deal of enthusiasm for Patina and its work. She will be taking on the coordination of our artist team, overseeing materials and project logistics, and continuing to build strong relationships with our partner schools to support the delivery of the Moving On Parade. We are excited to have her join the team and look forward to the ideas, energy and expertise she will bring to future projects.
